A 13 years old boy was recently hired by Google. Guess his pay.....$1.2 Million Dollars!!.

If you convert that to Naira, that’s like: N432, 600,000. Almost half a Billion naira.

Just a 13 year old boy, who may still be in highschool . But today, we have B.Sc holder and M.Sc holders who are searching for even low income Jobs.

WATCH THE VIDEO OF THE BOY HERE

The education system of today kills the creativity and abilities of many kids. It is really painful to see many parents struggling to get their kids through Primary, Secondary and University education, and at the end still support them as they struggle and search for Jobs, which may never come.

Today, technology has given everyone the opportunity to become great. But many people don’t even know where to start from.

The Way Forward

So how can parents guide their kids into building a successful future career driven by Technology?

How can parents teach their children from an early age to become creators and Innovators and not end up frustrated by Lack of Jobs.

The school system has failed almost totally. Many of the teachers are still old fashioned, and themselves in need of direction. So who will help the younger generations?

TeenHack is changing the narrative!

TeenHack project is an initiative of RAD5 Tech Hub. It is a tech learning community designed to promote innovation and creativity amongst kids/teens in Aba, Abia State, Nigeria.

Last year we had hundreds of kids who were glad to be part of the TeenHack project.
